Rochelle Mazar

Librarian, Consultant, Troublemaker

Rochelle started her career providing faculty support for instructional and emerging technologies at the University of Toronto Mississauga, shifted into a staff development, change management, and project leader role at the University of Rochester, and then shifted into the role of Assistant Dean, Academic Engagement, leading portfolio containing a wide variety of faculty- and student-facing services. In that role, she had the opportunity to lead many recruitment and search committees, leading to her asking herself a lot of questions about the process. Rochelle is currently working on her dream project, creating a range of professional development opportunities focused on creativity, patron-driven strategy, space design, and rapid prototyping in partnership with The Children’s Art Factory in Guelph.
